Yes! If you have in the contract stated what he was to do exactly if he did not comply, he has broken the contract therefore is in default of the contract. You could sue not only to get what you are supposed to out of it, plus any monies you already paid him due to this.

I would take the photographer to small claims court. You can go down to your local police station and file the claim or you can hire a lawyer.
Take him to Christina’s Court
I hope all goes your way and you get your priceless memories.

He probably thinks because your in the US you can’t touch him… i would hire a solicitor first of all i think if you were to hire 1 in the UK that would have more impact and they know our laws etc.. if you go to (yellow pages) you should find a solicitor and normally you get your 1st hour free. Depending on how much money you have handed over i would imagine this would go to a small claims court. I have never had to deal with small claims court before and i am not sure whether you would need to be there but a solicitor would tell you all that. Also if you like you can contact the Citizen’s Advice and they give you advice for free.
Good Luck x

Hire the solicitor who will write to him. If that fails he can be taken to court.
