I need help finding a unique wedding favor?

  • low-budget-weddings posted: 15 Apr at 6:04 am

has some really cute ideas like bride and groom keyboard dusters or slot machines that you fill up with little candies. I found them just doing a Google OOPS Yahoo! search for humorous wedding favors.

On the practical side, you can do things yourself. I made laminated bookmarks with tassels for our ceremony. You could glue magnets on the back of bookmarks too. Bookmarks are always a useful favor.

You just need to show a little of your and your personality to say Thank You to your guests for sharing your day, so the ideas could be endless.

    Congratulations!!

I don’t know about humorous, but I always wanted to use little containers of lucky bamboo or small pots of flowers! Like a pair of violets in a small glass pot. If they’re cared for properly, they’ll last forever and look beautiful in your home.

I can’t think of any humorous favors but will keep thinking on it…. As for practical, I think that edible favors are the most practical. I am making truffles, putting them in jewel boxes, and then putting little ribbons and notes on them and setting them on the table. Other ideas I like are candy bars, little glass vials shaped as leafs filled with maple syrup, wine, etc.

My fiance said a funny wedding favor would be personalized condoms for your guest after the wedding :-)

a mixed CD with your favorite love songs and songs played at your wedding, cheap, fun and functional

make a mix cd with a bunch of songs on it. we did that for our wedding and put pictures of us on insert cards that go in the cd case and made them look like a real cd would. as for music we did a bunch of different love songs, on our cd we did keith urban, elton john, journey, josh turner, etta james, billy joel, michael buble ect. it was a huge hit everyone loved them and people now are still saying they listen to it. plus its fairly cheap. buy the blank cd’s in bulk and burn the discs yourself.

I’m having a photo booth at my wedding. It will serve as a guest book and as the wedding favors.

The way it works is the guests go into the booth and take 4 pictures. There will be props (such as hats, boa’s, glasses, etc) for them to use if they choose to. When the pictures print it out there are two sets. They tear it in half and take one set of 4 and cut it up however they want. Then at a table they create a scrapbook page using the 4 pictures and pens and stickers to write whatever they want. The other set of 4 is for them to keep. At the top is a saying and at the bottom as well. I can put Thank You and my name and the wedding date or whatever I want it to say.

It’s definitly a fun and unique way to kill two birds with one stone. Wedding favors and guest book. :) Depending on where you live, you can probably find someone who does this.

    Good luck!

These are quite cheap – make sure you buy the rubber ones and not plastic ones, they don’t make the same sound.
